As a family portrait photographer in the Ruston and Shreveport Louisiana areas, I strive to make your family portrait experience one to remember. There is a lot of chaos that can be involved the process of family portraits. From start to finish, CDP is with you every single step of the way. Outfit inspiration, location ideas, and much more! We can't wait to work with you!!
I truly know and understand fears you may be feeling about your littles not cooperating for portraits. Trust me, I have littles of my own. I know how they can be. I truly believe in toddler-led portrait sessions. This means we aren't forcing poses on littles. We aren't setting high expectations of them sitting and smiling perfectly. I want to capture them, and you as a family, as who you really are. Crazy, and chaotic as that may be. Your chaos is a beautiful story worth telling.

The CDP Process
STEP ONE: LET'S BE FRIENDS
We don't believe that family photography is one size fits all. We know that every family is unique! We serve families that are joyful and love genuine moments captured with their family. We know that you need more than just pretty pictures- you need an incredible experience!
The first step towards working together is determining if we are a good fit. After getting to know you online, we will determine if we are the perfect pair and then we'll move on to the booking process!
STEP TWO: SAVE YOUR DATE
YAY!!! You're a CDP Family!! Once a date is settled upon, we will send your agreement over and get your down payment to secure your date! Everything is official!! It's time to get really excited!!
STEP THREE: YOUR SESSION
Let the fun begin!! It's time for your session. Don't worry- we'll teach you everything! The first 20 minutes may feel awkward, but that's ok! It will get better!!! Don't stress about your little ones not cooperating, it's completely normal! We'll make it work! After your session, you'll be featured on the CDP Blog and will also be sent your online gallery of images to be downloaded and shared however you so desire! We also have an online store where you may place print orders.
