You are here because you are expecting and looking for a photographer for your sweet newborn session. First of all, congratulations!! Oh how exciting this time is. You are in the right place and we are so thrilled that you're here!
What To Expect
Our newborn sessions are done in-home because we believe that is where you and your family are the most comfortable! We also love capturing all the details of you and your home that makes it unique to you. There will never be someone with images at the same location because these are all your very own! That's something quite special. We offer three newborn portrait packages. Two of which include a maternity session. These take place at a location of yours or our choosing. This is a great time to get to meet each other and experience what it is like working with each other before your sweet bundle arrives.
The newborn stage is something that both precious and challenging. The time is fleeting. I am always amazed at just how quickly these teeny ones grow. Knowing how chaotic this time can be, we strive to not add any extra stress on you as the mom. These sessions are in-home so that you are comfortable in a familiar environment, as well as, so that you do not have to get out of the house. We are so thrilled to capture this precious time for you and your family.
The CDP Process
STEP ONE: LET'S BE FRIENDS
We don't believe that newborn photography is one size fits all. We know that every family is unique! We serve sweet and southern mamas love genuine moments captured with their new, or growing, family. We know that you need more than just pretty pictures- you need an incredible experience!
The first step towards working together is determining if we are a good fit. After getting to know you online, we will determine if we are the perfect pair and then we'll move on to the booking process!
STEP TWO: SAVE YOUR DATE
YAY!!! You're a CDP Family!! Once a date is settled upon, we will send your agreement over and get your down payment to secure your date! Everything is official!! It's time to get really excited!! We know that baby comes whenever baby wants, so we are always flexible with dates.
If you have booked our maternity + newborn session we will schedule your maternity session and the best time documenting your growing baby bump.
STEP THREE: YOUR SESSION
Let the fun begin!! It's time for your session. Don't worry- we'll teach you everything! The first 20 minutes may feel awkward, but that's ok! It will get better!!! Don't stress about your little ones not cooperating, it's completely normal! We'll make it work! After your session, you'll be featured on the CDP Blog and will also be sent your online gallery of images to be downloaded and shared however you so desire! We also have an online store where you may place print orders. Each session, also, has the option to add on a luxury, heirloom album.
Maternity Portraits Are Important
We believe that documenting this incredible time while you're expecting your precious baby is so important! You can't relive this time, pregnant with this baby. Let's preserve these memories. You are beautiful and you are doing something beautiful. You are growing a life inside of you. Please don't ever think that it isn't beautiful and incredible. It is truly a miracle from God.

milestone sessions
After your sweet baby has reached 3 months, we no longer consider sessions for them as newborn sessions. These are still precious times and we love to capture them. We call these sweet moments milestone sessions. These are 30-40 minute sessions focusing on your sweet babe and the new things they can do. We do these around 3 months, 6 months, and 12 months.
